Noid problem????

Noid problem???? I got a used TNT purge kit from a member here and I hooked it up tonight and when I opened the bottle, there is slight preassure coming out of the purge tube. It's like the noid is not closed all the way.
What can be done to fix this? I hit the botton and it worked OK. But it still didn't close all the way when I let off the botton.
