stock LS1...need some advice

Default stock LS1...need some advice

have a stock LS1, A4, looking to spray the car, nothin serious....maybe less than a 100 shot..75 maybe...question im askin, which is better for my setup wet/dry......???...opinions and recommendations

For the size shot you are looking to spray either will work fine. I would suggest doing some research and see which fits your needs and abilities more. You will find that everyone will vote for what they use them selfs. I have found that different peoples abilities and applications vary on what they really need.

Go wet, Dave's plate kit is a nice easy, very clean install that works well. Get a window switch and a bottle heater w/ the kit. They are pretty much mandatory accessory's.

I did both wet and dry, and wet gets my vote for easiest to set up and tune. Yes there are more parts in a wet set up, and dry is reputed to be safer but I found Daves wet plate to work right out of the box to a 150 shot no issues. My dry we found my injectors were to small to support more than a 50 shot safely.

A plate system is the ticket in my opinion because you do not have to cut a hole in a Aircleaner or Air duct (Blackwing CAI is $250, a stock air duct is $100) and the kits is easily removable if you go to sell of trade the car at a later date. I would dare say the plate kit would hold its value a bit better than a nozzle kit for resale also.

you could also get a custom panel from beer99c5 to give it a nice finish
