2 stage question

Default 2 stage question

search is fd up and im confused. whats the difference between running a 200 shot, or running a 2 stage 200 shot? the stages do not spray at the same time do they? i have a few ideas but ill see what you guys say first.

It helps with torque spike and 100 shot out of the hole then 100 more after 60 foot, to maintain traction and smoothes out the hit compared to a single 200 shot...IIRC robert56 had a graph on a single vs. dual vs. a turbo graph and it was pretty interesting...maybe someone will post it up when search starts working...

i was thinking something on those lines. so maybe a 2 stage 100 off the line and then a 100 second stage. so when you get down the track you will actually have a 200 shot going to the motor? or would you have only the second stage? i guess you could prob do it either way.

the first one hits then the 2nd ON TOP OF IT so you have both stages going the rest of the way down the track/street. Yes you could just have the first stage going and the second disabled but that's running a single stage not dual.

It would be pointless to have the first stage to come on then stop when the 2nd comes on. Dual stage's are typically associated to big hits of nitrous. Like 150 off the line, then another 150 after the 60ft, so 300 shot total after 60 all the way down the track...it pretty much serves the same purpose of a progressive one stage for torque spike, traction/standing it on the bumper, off the line.

2 stages also helps alot with cylender pressure. hit the motor 2 seperate times its alot less shock to the motor
