Default Why am i running so rich? FPSS PROBLEM???

I installed a standalone fuel system and a fpss at the same time. Now every time i spray it makes horrible power and runs at about 9:1 afr then goes off the chart rich. Im using the same tnt f1 kit that ive been running for years. I spoke to tnt and they said they have seen problems with the fpss not grounding properly for the n20 solenoid Any one else have this problem?

Bypass the FPSS and go from there.

I set the pressure on the standalone at stock 58psi. That went rich i tested it all the way down to 30psi and that went rich also but not as much. Im thinking its a nitrous delivery problem. I know there is a little nitrous because im still gaining hp on the dyno. About 50-75hp on the 150 jets. I checked all the lines and they are fine, i havent taken the solenoid apart yet,im doing that tomorrow. Any other ideas.

If there was a problem with the fuel pressure safety switch niether solenoid would fire.

It sounds like you have a tunning issue. Are you adjusting your dedicated fuel pressure as a flowing fuel pressure or dead headed?

If you are just adjusting the fuel pressure by turning the pump on and turning the regulater screw until the gauge reads what you are looking for its called dead heading it.

You need to be using a flow check tool and adjusting the actual FLOWING fuel pressure.

A tool like one of these.

The one in the case is what I use. It has a six inch certified gauge.
The small one is not certified.
Both will get the job done and come with a cross refrence chart and jets.

I checking the pressure on a standalone different than checking it off the rail. When i was running off the rail it was always at about 60psi, im checking the standalone with the same gauge, why would i need a different testing method. Also generally speaking if im getting 55 dead heading psi would the flowing pressure be more or less.
