A/F Ratio Shut Down Switch
The DynoTune Nitrous Air/Fuel ratio switch is the only A/F switch available. This tiny stand alone device (you need nothing else to make it work other than your factory o2 sensor or wideband controller) is a Microprocessor controlled Air/Fuel ratio switch that will shut off the nitrous system if it goes lean during a Nitrous run and best of all, It works with your existing OEM oxygen sensor! (0-1v oxygen sensors)(or wideband controllers)
When a Lean condition occurs the Switch will shut down the nitrous system and the Red status indicator will illuminate for a short period (20 seconds) to tell the Driver what has happened. The switch will reset and be ready for another run automatically. The LED Status indicator can be mounted virtually anywhere.
A fuel pressure switch is nice but it just does not work well enough, a bad fuel solenoid or clogged fuel jet, and its all over.
There are only a few wires to hook up and is very simple. Typical installation takes less than 40 minutes! The switch is compact and will mount almost anywhere. This kit comes with everything you need to install (A/F Microprocessor controlled Switch, Remote LED Indicator, Instructions connectors etc.) For the ulitmate in accuracy, get the wideband controller and use this system to monitor your A/F ratio. Optionally you can buy one of our Gauges so you can watch the A/F ratio real time.
The A/F switch is fully adjustable via the switch on the front of the unit. Simply rotate the switch to change the switch point. Full billet housing, great quality...
The Switch monitors your engines Air/Fuel ratio (only when nitrous is activated) based on readings from your Oxygen sensor (o2) output in millivolts.
When a "LEAN" condition occurs during a Nitrous assisted run it will be on solid Red.

Note: Progressive controllers that pulse the solenoids at a throttle postion less than full can be utilized with the a/f nitrous switch but special wiring is required, contact sales.
