Default backfire lean or rich?

Does anyone know what causes a backfire at low RPMs....right as i push the pedal my car backfires then accelerates....does this have to do with running rich or lean? i think my car is running rich, but i honestly have no idea.....i really wanna know what causes a backfire

also....could a this entire problem effect me putting nitrous on my car?

"too lean" is when it backfires (or popping) on decel.

Unless you're driving the Batmobile, it's not good.

I really wouldn't drive it until you fix it. Bad/stuck injector perhaps? Bad/stuck fuel solenoid?

Backfires through the exhaust is usually a rich condition, through the intake a lean one.

Yep, pretty much the way it tends to be.
