Default OK.... am i retarded ?

So heres a question for you DP guys...

Ive been reading up and hearing everybody talk about "yeah you need to have all the lines the same length so that the nitrous all hits at the same time" .... .well... got thinking about it.

That makes absolutely jack **** for sense...

on a DP setup you have 1 nozzle for every intake port, in other words 1 nozzle per cylinder. Well when you think about it the second the nitrous engages and "hits" not all of your cylinders are on an intake stroke... thus, unlike traditional MAF kits/nozzle kits, rather than have your manifold filled with nitrous and the cylinder thats on the intake stroke sucking in that charge filled with nitrous, you have a nitrous charge being sprayed directly into an intake port that is just going to kinda "chill" there until the intake valve begins to open yet again.

am i thinking right in the fact that it means absolutely nothing whatsoever to have the lines equal length when in all actuallity its taking MICROSECONDS for the nitrous to travel the little extra amount of line than it would on a shorter line.

1000 PSI + a 5/16 hose is some pretty wicked velocity.... different lengths of line should make absolutly no difference whatsoever besides making it "asthetically" pleasing to the eyes.

+1, I don't worry about microseconds and I've made a pass or 2.
I go by ease of maintenance and secure mounting of equipment.

I wouldnt worry about the length at all as long as they arent drastically different lengths.

I wouldn't worry about the milliseconds. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the same reason people switch to hard lines?

Every fogger with hard lines I ever saw have 2 short holes (3,5 & 4,6) and 2 long holes (1,7 & 2,8). I wouldn't give it a second thought unless someone really did something assinine. A normal fogger would not be drastic in my opinion.
