Default another hsw stand alone fuel pressure question

guys i have the high pressure spring in the regulator and you are supposed to set the pressure to what it is at idle correct???
but stock fuel pressure is 58 psi but with my racetronix pump it is like 68psi , and from what i have read the pressure drops back down when a load is put on the motor with the racetronixs to where it is supposed to be .

so should i set my standalone fuel pressure to 58 or 68 psi??

i think it only goes to 65...what kinda kit? if its already calibrated for an ls1 then start at 60 check the plugs after a run or 2 and then you should be able to go back to 58 to get the correct a/f, if yoiu want to not ahve to heat the bottle as much, you can drop the stand alone pressurea few psi and then bottle pressure down to maybe 900 and still have the correct a/f but the shot will become smaller, same thing to make the shot slightly bigger

The best way to set a dedicated is to set the FLOWING fuel pressure. We use a flow tool for doing this.

Set it to the flowing fuel pressure that the jetting for your system is designed for.

We carry two different styles of Flow tools.
They both come with conversion charts.

The cheapest one is this one.

The professional grade one with certifies 6in gauge like i use is this one.

For a Directport these are a must.
