No. Here I took your drawing and did it instead of linking you to instructions.

If you want to do it better, Here is what i did. I used the Horn. BUT< What i did was put a relay at the front of the car where the horn was, so that when i flip the switch, the horn would work as normal. Then when i flip the switch on, then the nitrous would be active when i press the horn. It was very secretive, plus i still retaned the factory use of my buttons.

for you do do what i did, you just have to use 1 more relay. 87A is the output that would go to the horn, 87 went to the nitrous kit. 30 went to the wire going from the horn switch.

You must hook the solonoid up through a relay. Also, Based on your testing my bet is the solenoid is bad. You cannot hold the solonoid to direct power with no nitrous flowing through it. You can hit the solonoid quick to 12V power to see if it clicks, my guess is your will not. We use one of the highest quality solenoids on the market but even our industry leading solonoid will not weather continous power.

yea it has always been set up through a relay. i just did the direct connect to the battery to see if i can hear the noid open. however it did have continuous power previous because i accidentally mounted a momentary switch that was normally CLOSED! grrr i finally got a normally open switch today. too bad i already destroyed the noid. ummm looks like ill be ordering another one heh
