Default TA AC Vent Gauges

Well I guess my A/F gauge is supposed to be shipping out today (crosses fingers) and I want to install it in the center AC vent. I did a search but couldnt find anything on how you're supposed to get the vent louvers out though. Do you just pull them out or are there some clips I should be aware of?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. Wasnt really sure where its supposed to go and figured a few nitrous junkies have already done this on their cars.

I worked a very small screwdriver in to help release the clips and just pulled them out. There are some clips that bite into the dash padding to hold them in place.

I know thats my same thread but I was wanting something more on the technical side. The small screwdriver tip is along the lines of what I was looking for whereas the other thread I just wanted some pix.

you will also need to make a plate to hold the gauges themselves. you may use the materials of your choice, just be creative. finalize one then use the one as a template to make the others if you have more than one going in.
