Default Testing solenoid coils?

Is there any way to test solenoid coils? I have a hunch that's where the problem lies in my system currently.

Sounds like they are installed, so you will want to by-pass the RPM window switch (if you are using one) and manually activate the system, might get tricky if you are using a TPS activation switch, pretty easy if you have a WOT switch. You may want to pull the nozzle out and have some one help you with aiming it into a bucket. Be cause full, the nitrous will be VERY cold, and it's a wet kit there will be fuel spraying out, so be very careful. Should tell you pretty quick if the solenoid(s) are opening up or not.

They click open up when the window switch and the fpss are bypassed with the engine off and the bottle closed. The problem is that when I actually spray the car, the solenoids activate for about 2 or 3 seconds and blow the 30 amp fuse. I have already swapped out my 12 ga wire that I was using to power and ground the solenoids for 10 ga. I am positive I have a good ground...I even ran a jumper back to the negative terminal to remove all doubt. It still blew the fuse after a few seconds. The solenoid coils are the only other thing I could think of. When they go bad, do they just plain not work?

Check the resistance of the coil. They both should match. Also check for a short to ground.
