Nitrous / Propane Injection Has anyone tried nitrous / propane on their LS1 yet???
What kind of hardware besides a propane bottle heater / lines would you need to run nitrous / propane?
Does anyone have any idea what kind of jetting you would use for propane, and how much would be used and a ratio betweens bottle fills / swaps at your local 7-11?
Any info on propane would be great... thanks.

Re: Nitrous / Propane Injection As far as other stuff you will need you pretty much coverd it. You will need a solenoid. I use NOS cheater fuel solenoids they are good up to 400psi so they have no problem with 150psi or so propane runs at. Any fuel solenoid with the same spec as the cheater should work. You will use about 1lb of propane for every 18lbs of nitrous. Or there abouts I've never actually checked but it last a long time. We were running 36's on the dry side and 63/32 on the propane side and the AFR was 12.8-13.0 the bottle pressure was 950psi. And that was good for about an extra 200RWHP. I would probably run a 34-36 on the fuel just to give it a little more of a cushion. Or better yet 32's on the dry side. Basically we were trying to make up for the fact that the dry side was a little lean. We have tried some diffrent settings with the propane. Not as much as I would like to but we only have so much time on the dyno. The set up that I've been running is 30 on the dry side and 63/30 on the propane which is good for 165RWHP and 285ft/lbs.

i guess you just have to watch your knock and see for yourself.

I'm really interested in doing this. I still need to get a nitrous set up, but if this is a better set up, I'd like to do it right from the start.

Re: Nitrous / Propane Injection What would it take to add this to a Nitrous Xpress Kit? So, you can use this and what about gas in the gas tank? Pump gas? So you can get away with running pump gas in the tank even on big 200-300 shots? This would throw the Nitrous Xpress jetting way off wouldnt it? The Viper guys run a kit from BTR like this.
