Default modifying nozzles

I have a HSW single dry nozzle kit with 70 degree nozzle. My spraying angle wasn't right so I bought a NOS 90 degree fan spray nozzle. My HSW jets wouldnt fit the nozzle so I drilled the nozzle out to fit the jets and I needed more like a 110 degree angle so I ground the wedge of the nozzle to give me more of and angle. Will these things cause any harm?

The problem with modifying the nozzle is when a nozzle is designed they flow them and make sure they have a good spray pattern and on a wet nozzle they mix correctly. I would connect it up and make sure the spray pattern is still good.

On a dry nozzle you should be fine since you are not trying to attomize fuel with the nozzle.
