Default laptop interface problem's with tps/window

Ok, Dave's plate system is installed and green light comes on when full throttle is hit on window switch/brain/tps sensor, whatever, and all is good. So I think my wiring is correct. When I plug in my laptop to set it up I can't get the car to laptop icon to come on. I think this last bit of programming is all that is keeping it from being complete. Lost my cell so I couldn't reach tech support in time today at the nitrous outlet. I am Frustrated big time. I feel like I went overboard with the electronics for just a measly 100 shot!!!

Did a better search and it seems I am not the only fellow who has had this problem. It appears it's cureable.

I had the same problem, my guess is your running windows xp

if so you'll need to download the drivers from either your disk or from the website and put them in your local c: drive, next when installing the program it will ask you to either let windows find the driver or you can choose the locate, you choose the location and direct it to the drivers on the c: drive

then it should work, I had to do this twice before windows would take the drivers
