new system i just bought the Nos dry kit . i have a few questions on setting it up . i also bought a window switch ( i plan on running it 3000 rpm to 6000rpm), a bottle warmer , and a automatic valve opener . i am having everything installed this week . do i need to change the plugs for a 100 shot? the guy at the Nos tech line said i didnt need to . if i do need to change them , what plugs should i run and will they affect performance when i am not spraying ? also any advice would be appreciated thanks

Re: new system You need to buy colder plugs for nitrous. I dont know exactly how much the limit is for the amount, but I THINK that for any amount of nitrous you need to. I have some friends that run a decent amount of nitrous through some motors, and they say you should buy AC Delco plugs for nitrous and not NGK. The reason for this is that when you run nitrous and if you happen to go lean, the cylinder will over heat and mess stuff up. With NGK plugs, they stay firing, which in turn will break a piston or melt one, but with the AC plugs, when you run lean, the plug will actually melt from the excessive heat in the cylinder, making so that you dont blow nothing up.
Re: new system Definitely change the plugs. Most LS1's are equipped with Platinum plugs, and they are not nitrous friendly. For a 100 shot, I'd look for some TR-55s and gap at .050.
