will NGK TR6 cause lower AFR

will NGK TR6 cause lower AFR I changed out my Delco Iridium plugs and installed NGK TR6 plugs and now my AFR went from 13.2 to around 12.0. Is this due to the colder plug?
Well, I'm gonna take a stab at it. PLEASE TAKE THIS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT. I'm not a genius on these things, and I'd like to throw out a theory for someone to correct! Kinda fun to see if I'm in the ball park here...
Since AFR is measured at the O2 sensor after combustion has occurred, it would indicate to me that your AFR is now reading richer due to additional unburned fuel in the exhaust. I think in this case if plugs were the only change it would be fair to say that the NGK TR6's are not burning the fuel as efficiently as your original plugs, hence higher unburned fuel at the O2 sensor.
Please some expert chime in and add clarity.
