such thing as a fail safe solenoid?

Is there any new fuel solenoids out there that are guaranteed not to fail? That is my biggest fear with my wet kit.

Not really. Advancements have been made true enough, but as with anything we make, there is always that chance, however rare it is that we fail. You can do other things to prevent melt-down if your fuel noid fails. Like, run a FPSS, and/or Wideband Switch via a controller, use fuel pressure/nitrous pressure gauges too.

I'm an engineer for an aerospace company that makes solenoids/switches for almost every aircraft flying. We also sell back-up systems... for a reason.
