what is the max shot on a ls1 with a mild cam, with a 3600 stall and some good stickies, with 373 gears?...just wondering what kinda power and times it would make even if it pops the engine after 1 or 2 huge shots..... .......just wondering ...im tryin to see what it would take to shut "somebody" up even if it pops my motor.....ill build a new one

 

as much as it will take to blow it up, then back off 10 hp. there has been talk of 300 shots. i've been 250 on two stages myself.

if youre not worried about blowing it up, then do a 300 shot.... make sure you have enough fuel to supply it.

 

Really it comes down to what the tranny/clutch/convertor can handle. we have sprayed 250 shots on 10 bolt auto's and they held . we normally don't break motors its tranny/rear first. I have sen 300 shots on stock motors. they don't last long but if you 2 stage it and bring the 2nd in after 5500 or so it will live for a few passes if the fuel pump can keep up. basiclly we need more info on hat you have.
