I don't think they're forum vendors anymore therefore probably don't watch the threads.

This is nothing new, before LS1tech he got himself banned from this avalanche board:

http://www.avowners.com/forum.idc?sh...cs&FID=41&PN=1 (click show all activity)

before that, banned from a Viper board.

Its unfortunate people are still getting screwed.

I would call the bank and try to get them to stop payment on it and then I would call the police and file a report and send it to them in the mail with a nasty letter telling them you will see them in cour then they will probably send you your money. Or maybe take a ride to their shop and wreck shop! *******!

Thats why I have always stuck with NX, they been around a long time and are proven.

Vinny,
There are threads on here where I shared those threads over a year ago. I even shared them with Robert56 before he went to work for Scott so that he would know Scotts history. I personally talk to quite a few people that got the short end of the stick when dealing with Nitrous Direct.

One example, We had another company click on the wrong banner here on LS1 tech and called Nitrous Direct by mistake and asked for Dave. When he was told Dave was not in he asked for Chris. Then he was told Chris was in the back. So unaware of what was going on he placed a buy in order with Nitrous Direct thinking it was Nitrous Outlet. When he relized what had happen he was not a happy camper.
(This is one of many instances)

Not everyone runs a buisness with moral standings.
Unfortintly we see guys like this from time to time in this buisness. The best thing I can suggest is to stay away from companies and individuals with shaddy buisness tactics.

Call the credit card company and contest the charge. If your lucky he will still have a banking account and you can get your money back.

this thread will stay open as long as it stays on track, and its stays in control.

no matter who it is IMO sponsor or not, issues as well as complements should be public.
no bashing, no flaming ect ect, but if there is an issue that is brought up in a mature manner usualy it can be fixed right away, and you get both sides of the story.

keep the real info coming and this is a good heads up to future nitrous buyers

I never deleted any threads. I never really saw many unsatisfied customers here from ND. Just shady businiess tactics. Personally I hated the ******* guy and would loved to have booted him off the board long long ago. However I do my mod duties without bias (or as much as possible) and who stays and goes as a sponsor is not up to me.

Now it looks like the end may be near for him. Thats when customer really get screwed. Much like the turbo comapanies or engine shops that close. in the end they will take as many orders as possible and deliver nothing. I have no idea if ND is that far along or not....but this thread definately isnt going anywhere. My loyalty lies first and foremost with the LS1tech members.

Contact your bank and start a claim with them. I have Bank of America, and have had a similar issue. They sent a temporary credit (which turned permanent)to my account while they did an investigation which they found in favor of me.

ive dealt with 3 nitrous companies that are sponsors on here and other sites and i think they are some of the overall best aftermarket automotive companies to deal with as well as quality of products. its just a coincidence they're all in the nitrous industry but hey, they have good competition because i can't say enough things about Nitrous Outlet, Harris Speed Works and Dynotune Nitrous.

the products are all top notch and the customer service is basically unmatched except by each other. i wish there were companies like those 3 involved in other automotive industries besides the nitrous scene, because ive yet to deal with a company like one of these in another part of motorsports. theres my oppinion.

and for the record, i was thinking you were putting down Nitrous Outlet, i didnt realize it was a different company, easy name to mix up.hehe.

props to the down to earth and extremely knowledgeable guys in the nitrous business though.

good luck with the situation bro, crap like this sucks to deal with.

I'll say this:
stick with the guys who have stuck with you.

Nitrous Outlet, Harris Speedworks and Dyno Tune are my personal favorites. I have purchased from all of the above.

I'll add my own editorial:
Nevermind - i'll let the past be the past.

Still --

Several folks here really seemed to be in his gunsigts...

Back on point - I just ordered a DP system from Nitrous Outlet. I had several ideas and Dave set me straight...broker...but straight. LOL.

Dave I have never seen that thread before, and as a metter of fact have never been there before. I know you and others tried to warn me, but I give everyone a fair shake. Now, if I had known the full story, I prob would have passed, but really only heard bits and pieces. anyway, i watched ND get the boot at more than a couple sites, not really sure what the full story was/is on each, but I think we can all figure it out for ourselves, eventhough, I know of no one he ripped off personally while I was there. It's really a crying shame. He's left to his own devices. There is more to the story as to why I quit, and why I didn't do it sooner, but I have given my word to those who matter that I wouldn't start any problems, so...

Like everyone has stated, stay with DT, Harris and Dave and things will be fine, as they all go the extra mile.

yeppers the best way to decribe that type of person crooked, thief
Robert
Good thing you bailed before the boat was completly underwater, sure your shoes might have gotten wet but you got out in time.

Sorry guys did not mean to rant but I still think if this type of person was dropped in the ocean we would all have easy lifes. Insurances would be lower, medical would be lower, etc etc etc. oh nitrous would be cheaper.

Robert,
Sometimes we just have to figure it out on our own. I have been guilty of giving someone the benefet of the doubt just to learn I should not have as well. I always try to see the good in someone and sometimes this leads me to getting screwed in the long run. I have learn over time though to lestin to others so that I do not end up in that predictament.

I wondered what happened to those guy's. I never bought anything from them, I always by my stuff from Dave. BTW when I was tring to put together something out of the ordinary chris and dave helped me alot! They seem to treat you with the same good customer service no matter if your buying a $1.00 part or a $1000.00 part.
