Default Ok some newbie ntirous questions

Ok I met a guy the othernight at a car show selling a used zex nitrous kit, I'ts been hooked up but he said its never been sprayed he wants 375 for the kit. I didnt get into detail with what it includes but ive got a few questions.
My car is in the sig I'd like to spray a 50shot to start out with and up it to 75 over time. My questions are is spraying a 50shot through stockheaders a bad idea I know its not a good idea but can it be done? Also what should I do for precautions before I hook it up and spray it. I will get it dynotuned for the 50shot. But im more concenrd about maybe stock injectors if any of them are not firing at 100percent it would not be pretty to find out the hard way. Also Im still on a stock 4l60e with a 3000stall. I would not spray the car in first I would wait till 2nd. My trans still shifts very good and has no slippage. Do you guys think my trans can hold it I DO NOt beat on this car My trans does have almost 80,000 on it so im still concernd Im not to worried about the motor is still runs very strong and still has good oil presure. I would replace all plugs and wires and get it tuned with the spary and have my injectors checked
does it sound like I can safely use this kit running no more then 50SHOT
I think it can be done but I need some actual smart guys to chime in here and help my newbie *** out Oh and 1 more question im running a grantelli mafs should I go back to a stock one for tuning purposes I will prob do it anyways with or without the kit but just something else that i remebered

thank you guys

is it a wet or dry kit.....either of the kits can be used on your vehicle. You will want to make sure you have the correct jetting for the LS1 platform.

If it is a wet kit you do not need to worry about the injectors.

Wither either style kit you will want to consider a fuel pump upgrade as the stock unit will only support ~450whp.

a fuel pump is not always required but highly reccomended.

The Racetronix kits are good for ~6-650whp

Its a nice insurance policy for ~$249

I suggest upgrading the fuel system at approx. 450whp....if you will exceed that amount I would suggest upgrading the pump. Some people have pushed a stock pump to 500whp, but are taking a big risk.

I personnaly do not like pushing the limits of a fuel system, as it is the life blood of your engine. It gets expensive if you exceed its capacity.

you should be fine with the 28# injectors...but I would reccomend data logging the duty cycle to double check

The kit is a dry kit made by zex and as far as I know. 1 more thing I need to get is a window switch to not spray through the shifts. Also my main concern was my stock headers Id like to kind of go stealthy with the kit and hide it as far as interior goes so we will see
thank you for all the responses.
keep um coming guys
