Default Stalls and Nitrous

I'm not to into transmissions and how they work...i have a handle on the basics. Question:
How do you figure out the optimum stall converter for your setup. What factor should be considered when choosing the best stall converter. I'll assume that we will be using a quality brand like Vigilante or Yank...

You need to know what your goals are with the car. How streetable do you want it. What shot do you plan on stepping up to. It would be wise to get a GOOD quality converter the first time around with the anti balooning plates for nitrous. Yank or Vig is good. PM me and we can work out a price on a Vig.

Well thanks for the interest but I was looking for some specific discussion on what size stall is appropriate. Ie. Why use a 4000 vs a 5000 rpm? Do you want to stall at beginning of cam's power range etc....higher - lower ... all that stuff.

Yea I have been scouring that area. Just wanted the nitrous guys to chime in. BTW - I currently use a Yank Nitrous 4000 but i'm in the middle of a rebuild that uses a much bigger cam and a bit more hp. Just working out the driveline details.
