Me and my friends were discussing putting some nitrous on my 98 Z when an interesting question came up.
If the nozzle is put in front of the MAF, will the PCM figure out more air is coming into the motor and automatically inject more fuel and not destroy my motor like most dry shots do? Just asking because I don't want my motor to self destruct.
Thanks

You have to put the dry shot in front of, or before the air enters the MAF. The MAF will pick up the super chilled mix of nitrous and air, and immediately adjust the fuel curve, and timing. I used to run an NOS #5177 kit, and it worked like a charm. Never had any motor failure, or broken parts.
I ran my 5177 dry kit for a year - never a problem, no breaks, and it hauled *** on a 125 shot. The only thing I miss about having a supercharger now is the instantaneous BAM of a big shot of juice...
