is a 300 shot really 300 i was wondering i know on smaller shots 100-125-150 that it usually does deliver the specified shot to the wheels. what about you guys shooting 300 plus shots. Do you really see 300 to the wqheels or is it really less/more? I know this might sound stupd but i was just wandering. Also isn;t there an amout where a motor will kinda stop incresing with nitrous. I have heard you should never shot more then half your NA horsepower so for a 500 horse motor that would be 250 but what would happen if you sprayed 350?? All this being said assuming that the motor is built to take such abuse forged internals head stud etc etc
I believe it depends on the manufacturer of the NX kit. Some companies rate at the flywheel their shot, some companies rate at the wheels so you gotta be careful on your selection.

yea i have heard that as well. I thought correct me if i am wrong but all the big players like NX and NOS all rated to the rear wheels but i guess it could vary from kit to kit...stranger things have happened
The rule is the shot has nothing to do with jets and all to how much power it makes. a 300 shot should make 300fwhp. now in the last 4 years all the companies have had to keep up woth the jones cause a 150 shot that makes 160 to the wheels sells beter than a 150 shot that makes 130 to the wheels. even though both kits are working perfect. Like TNT there n20 jet is 1 bigger and fuel 1 smaller so it gets the mixture a hair leaner add the extra nitrous and it makes more. Problem is guys don't realize the 150 shot that makes 160 is really a 175 shot and is putting 175 shot stress on everything not 150 shot stress.
anyway. my proflo 350 shot makes 375 to the wheels. but i have a good understanding of how nitrous works and know its really a 400 shot.
