Default nx kit or zex kit is better

my brother got a nx kit and he put a 75 shoot it ran a 13.6 to a 12.3
that kit he has is the newist kit nx has for the lt1
i got a zex kit that is also rated at the flywheel while his is rated at the RW
is there any different or is mine just as good
thanks

nothing wrong with the ZEX kit i am quite partial to NX. Mike Wood is a scientist and before him was the late "Jon Stewart"the king of nitrous
ICE n20
magnum plus n2o
top gun n2o
NX n2o
TNT n2o

Couple of things here. First are u sure your bro is only shooting 75 because I have never seen a 75 drop 1.3 seconds off of a 1/4 mile time. Were there other changes besides the nitrous? Second both nx and TNT are top quality kits. The only thing limiting the power power is the size of the jets and solenoids.

Each kit can make the same amount of power at that HP level.. Its all about the orfice size of the jet in the nozzle. If you need more power just go up on the jet.

yea I am going to have to seethis. So from his old best time to his new best time is 1.5 seconds. I have never seen that on a 100 moreless a 75. I would Doble check the jet sizes. What other mods does he have. Also remember for you own references nitrous loves big exhaust so you will want to buff up that if you havent yet. Btw is your bros kit wet or dry?

There is just no way a 75 shot gave that kind of performance increase. He either used the wrong jet or he is pulling your leg.

There might of been that kind of performance increase if the run before the 75 shot the e-brake was on!

I have a Dynotune wet kit but if I had to choose between NX and Zex I would go NX.

most kits are rated at the wheels, any way you slice it an extra 75 hp isnt gonna net that much of an increase in times.
