Timing Retard Controller that is NOT MSD?

Timing Retard Controller that is NOT MSD? Anybody have an alternative to the MSD timing retard controller? I'm not a particular fan of their stand alone unit.
Harlan Engineering doesn't have a component for timing retard (although his Window Switch is excellent).
I'm just looking for alternatives so I don't have to "always" have retarded timing through LT1 Edit.

Re: Timing Retard Controller that is NOT MSD? Well you have an LT1 so its a bit different. I know most use MSD but it seems Crane has alot of good stuff?
I think Ramchargers has a MAF calibrator and timing calibrator all in one?

Re: Timing Retard Controller that is NOT MSD? We have our timing Tuner which is a timing computer, N2O retard and window switch all in one. Lots of them in use out there. Available from us and many other sponsors

Re: Timing Retard Controller that is NOT MSD? For an LT1 i used the MSD single for years with no issues.. i guess if your not a fan of MSD then you will have to go with Crane, which i am not a fan of or the Ramchargers unit.. which i run on my LS6 and i works great.. why hard time with MSD?

Re: Timing Retard Controller that is NOT MSD? Don't forget about the Holly Anialator ignition system. This system is programable for three stages of nitrous. Accel also offers a ignition system that will retard timing.

Believe it or not this is a motorcycle parts distributor and they sell on of the top nitrous controllers on the market today that are being used by a few NSCA/NMCA drag guys with great success.

I don't really have a beef with MSD. I'm just not a big fan of having to buy "pills" and the size of the retard unit is just a bit too large. So far I've managed to keep everything mounted right up underneath the dash ('96 Corvette) and would like to be able to fit the retard unit there as well.
