i highly reccomend a mallory 685 for window switch/rev limitor/timing retard

the TR6's are $1.99ea

see post #14 for my reccomendation for the budget you listed, it is an NX kit.

The Mallory 685 it is an aftermarket ignition control box. They are $244 and includes a single stage window switch and gives you the ability to retard timing if needed, if you are still on the stock tune you do not need to pull timing for the shot size you are wanting to run. I carry those as well.

A little bit of knowledge in wiring and electronics. It is a little involved taking the interior apart to wire everything and run the lines everywhere.

Definitely not unattainable.

Talk to Nitrous Outlet if you're concerned about the wiring part, they make super trick harnesses that are made to order, and literally plug and play.

Well I wont be spaying all the time, I just need something to put the cap on things.....

I also plan on being sneaky with it.


Is pulling the timing necessary in my situation? I won't be spraying all the time once in a blue moon........

Can a vender here guide me to the basics?

I have had 3 LT1 cars all with the spray with various mileage. Don't be nervous about the gas. use a wet kit and you will be fine. Its the retards that advance the crap out of their timing and still spary they cars and wonder why it broke that give nitous a bad name.

If your Budget allows it I would step up to the Nitro Dave LT1 Plate. Worth the extra IMHO. Listen to Ray he won't steer you wrong. Go witht he Autolite at .035 gap

BTW Spraying over 200RWHP out of the hole
