Having issues with leaky fitting on bottle????
Having issues with leaky fitting on bottle???? I want to blame the fitting but wanted to see what you all thought about it. If I connect my main line directly to the bottle I am 100% sealed, however when I add my fitting that allows for the bottle heater sensor I have issues. The sensor does not leak, nor does the fitting at the bottle. My main line leaks. I have tested it and its obviously not the line but instead the fitting. I have tried both teflon paste and tape to no success. Should I just replace the fitting?
20 dollars is cheap ... have you priced out other car parts that can go wrong? lol.
I had a GMPP shortblock that spun a bearing in 2k miles under recommended break-in conditions, had it not been under warranty THAT would have been a costly repair. Sack up and spend the 20 bucks so you can go out and leak that nitrous into the right place not just to atmosphere
