Default NX 100 shot wet kit-need wideband?

Do I need or will I be benefitted by a wideband 02 sensor if I get a 100-150shot wet kit? (sorry for the dumb question, btw)

Any suggestions on which ones to go with and where to buy and how much they cost would be appreciated as well. Thanks!

If your going to get into tuning a WB is well worth the money. If your going to set up a 100-150 shot and leave it alone, you can just test the setup on a dyno to get a baseline AFR reading, adjust as necessary and leave it alone.

Innovate LC-1 is what I am using.

I've never done ANY sort of tuning, so I wouldn't know what I'm doing. Is AFR something that can be set(as in VE tables, etcc) and left alone or does it need constant tweaking? I was really wondering if the PCM could operate AFR more accuratly reading a wideband. Thanks.

at least verify your AFR on a dyno using there wideband when you hook up your kit

The PCM will not function better if you have a wideband unless you log data to a laptop and tune using the wideband info in say EFI Live or HPT. The wideband does not provide any input to the PCM. It reads AFR from its own sensor and reports it to an output or an gauge.

What you do is adjust the fuel jetting up or down to get say 11.5-12.0 for AFR when on Spay and call it good on the dyno. As long as your bottle pressure is consistant, your AFR will be safe (from your tuning using jets on the dyno wideband). If you up the bottle pressure it will go leaner and if you use less pressure it will be richer.

So, the PCM can't read a wide range of AFR than what the factory narrow band provides?

just get a wide band, I was tuning just like you then I got a wide band and found I was running way rich at 10to1. A very good investment for any car running spray.
