Default bottle heater

i know i cant speel heater

i have 2 bottles and 2 dynotune high output black heaters and when my bottles get down to 5 or 4 pounds each i cant get them above 900-1000 psi max
i used a heatgun and got them to 1100 and then drove about 25 minutes to a car meet adn the had dropped to 975 or so....
i ran 10 gauge wire from the battery through a relay to them, they have plenty of power now the problem is this because they are so low? or i drive with the windows down (no ac) and i was thinking the air flow outside blowing through the car is cooling them off some and fighting the heaters....
yall think blankets would help much?
or is its just because they get too low?
thats goana suck if i have to refil everytime i get to 4-5 pounds....

is there a better heater on the market? i hear good things about the 860 bracket, but im think to myself that the bracket cant have as much contact area as the flexable rubber heaters...???
also is there something to help the heaters make better contact with the bottles?

Are you actually weighing the bottles or guessing the weight?
What do you have the pressure switch set to? Maybe if your running two heaters, you do not have the power going to it you think you do?

We sent you a pm. Not sure what the issue is as you have the most powerful heater available for the application that I know of. Looking forward to helping you out.

This time of year with it already being hot outside the heaters should be heating up as fast as they are going to. A bottle blanket will lock the heat on the bottle no matter what time of year though. Just get a good thick blanket like the NX one if you want it to actualy perform a duty.

A few things to check are this.

1. Actual nitrous in the bottle. Take the bottle and weigh it. If it only has a couple of pounds left that is your problem.

2. Put your hands on the heater element and make sure the entire heater is getting hot to the touch. If the entire heater element is not getting hot it needs replaced.

In responce to the 860 heater. I do not know that it is any better than what you have but the cleanness of the bottle bracket and heater all in one is pretty sweet.
The 860 is one of if not my favorite heater. In theory the aluminum should taransfer the heat faster than a element. However I have never tested this theory so I could be wrong. I do know aluminum will retain heat better than a element.

the heater gets hot...the bottles were weighed and it seems that once they get below 5-4.5 pounds they just wont go over 1000

called dynotune today...talked to them they sud try a differan gauge and some other stuff...so i did...my current gauge says 900 and its about 110 inside my car...i swap to another one i had sittin here...it says its at 1050...

so now idk what to do, of course i ave a good gauge that works fine, but when we tuned it we had the bottle pressure at 1000(per old gauge) and a/f was right on, with pressure drop it went slightly rich up top...
now i gota go put it on the dyno AGAIN!!! guess therse nothin else to do...stinks...at least i know the warmers were working...when they said 1000 with 4.5-5 pounds in them...they really had 1150....

BTW DAVE...i guess this is why your noids wouldent open...now im just confused at what to do
