nozzle in spacer?
On a carbed motor could I drill and tap a hole in my 2" spacer and install a nozzle instead of buying a plate? How much power can I run through a nozzle? I have the spacer and nozzle but I dont have a plate so this came to mind. Will it work out good or not?Any thoughts are appreciated.
It will work I have a local machine shop that builds me spacers for 78mm tb's and we just put nozzles in them.Haven't seen any issues with the setup. We spray a 150 through it. But most nozzles will go up to 250.
The only problem that I see is that nozzle placement would cause front or rear cylinders to go lean. It would be better to have two nozzles to evenly distribute the spray. So by that time you would be better off buying a plate because you would have about the same amount in it.
