I am in the process or wiring my Max2 and have a quick question, I looked for a schematic but didnt come up with one.

I have attached an image of how I think it should be (taken from the manual and edited a little).

relay terminal 30 - 12v from battery
relay terminal 86 - switched 12v from ignition source
relay terminal 85 - ground / activation switch (blue wire on maximizer)
relay terminal 87 - solenoid (A on solenoid driver)

Is this right??

 

Looks good to me! You'll be fine as long as you remember the Maximizer II only provides a negative signal, which you did.
