im not the end all be all of tuning... but i highly recomend pulling 3-4 degrees timing with that shot. you should be able to leave the rest of your tune alone. then you can simply put that timing back in it after your runs. especially at your power level on just motor! you would really be pushing it with that shot and advanced timing.

or just run 100-110 octane fuel when you plan to spray but thats not very realistic is it?

i will probably be corrected but the rule of thumb i always used is 1.5 degrees timing for every 50hp of juice. that should get you very close.

No matter what size shot you use you need to verify your A/F is within reasonable range. This will dictate the requirement of tuning. Don't chance it, period @ any level. Other than that just have all your safety addons for your nitrous system installed. Its like anything else, done correctly you shouldn't have a thing to worry about...except for running out of nitrous of coarse!

Just run a dry shot. Dont chance all of these short-comings of wet kits.

That's a matter of opinion and certainly shouldn't be doled out as the solve-all for someone with internal mods.
If you have internal mods (cam), I definitely would not recommend spraying anything without a tune, wet or dry. Stock internals, you should be safe up to 100, but any more than that, you should have a tune. Like was said before, I didn't even notice the 4 deg taken out of mine.

Good luck and enjoy!

The thing about the dry is you can truly have two tunes in one. This is a/f and timing, where the spray tune does not effect the n/a tune in any way shape or form. Check out the wet vs dry thread, then you can choose which ever style kit you might prefer, then spray away. Yes, I would also log your parameters to make sure all is well. Most in the industry will say no timing pull needed on 150 and below. Well, with some logging you can find out if this suits you, or for the best safety and to make the n2o hit work to it's potential, pull some timing. Good luck
