Default 150 shot heads cam

Simple question:

Do I need a fuel pump upgrade to spray 150 shot on heads cam car???

If so, could I just use a vortech t rex inline pump? Would rather do inline since i can get the t rex cheap.

Thanks,
Conrad

I don't know about a F-body fuel pump. However, I burnt 3 valves and the 4 spark plugs with my old setup. 212/218, ported heads, and a 150 shot. It sucked. The chunks of the valves did a number on my cylinders.
I would upgrade the pump, its cheaper.

Couple of the sponsor ( www.thunderracing.com - for one) carry a 'plug and play' RACETRONICs modified Walbro 255 fuel pump that will do the trick.
