Hey guys, just wanted to get some opinions here. Take the mods in my sig, add intake manifold, tb, perhaps Finish Line stage 3 trans, 12 bolt, and a very well tuned nitrous system, you think its possible to see a high 10 second pass? Basically my question is, is it possible with a stock ls1 motor, and spray alone to see a 10 second pass in these cars? I would rather not touch the internals, want to keep the car spray only.

 

Short answer....YES

Long answer...yes it is possible to run 10's with bolt-ons and nitrous....cars have done it with bolt-ons only. The issue is going to be raceweight, total HP, and traction.

 

Yea i'm going to try and get my beast as light as possible. Definately gona need the weight reduction. Good to know that its possible. My goal is however, to make it into 10's on a stock motor....while using a dry set-up. Robert's constant posts turned me to the dry side haha. By the way I will be using your dual nozzle dry kit (still sitting in my kitchen)

 

yeah its possible... i would ditch those nittos though and get some et street radials and you will hook so much better

 

yea for sure....I plan on replacing them in a while. I have a LOT of other things to do to the car....I was just seeing if nitrous only, stock motor, could make it into 10's
