Default need a general opinion on a set-up...

Obviously I know one set up will make more power, but it's if I really need it is what I'm wondering.

I pretty much decided after talking to Ray @ nitro daves a little that I'm going to buy their money maker kit. I've always liked having a nice quiet, easy to drive car and I think it will help keep stock appearances but still provide some good power.

As far as the rest of the set-up... I was planning on swapping to a th-350 with a 6spd console, (so the car just looks like a 6spd), lowering the rear end with the "budget drag suspension" (chopped rear springs) removing the front sway bar, getting a good nitrous converter for a stock motor, and doing long tubes while trying to keep the car as quiet as possible. I might even just keep the stock manis, stock exhaust and do a cut-out... but not sure yet there.

The part I'm wondering about is the intake manifold. I need to send them a manifold to mess with, and I can't have my car down very long so I am going to purchase another intake to send to them anyways.

Spraying 150-200 on the car with those other mods, is it even worth upgrading from the LS6 I have now to a fast78 or fast90? I don't even really want to go all out with a 90/90 set up just because of how much more money it is and all I'd have to do really is just swap jets and retune.

Would a 78/78 or 90/90 set-up really be worth it when dealing with a stock cam, stock heads, essentially converter only car? Would you guys do it? Yeah it's going to make more power but should I really care when I wouldn't be racing on motor ... ever...

fwiw I don't see a problem with the car hooking on 150-200 on a 17" DR which is also the plan if that means anything to anyone
