i will attach a HPT log from my first night running the nitrous at the track. I only got in 2 runs and track was not hooking. I normally pull low 1.6's NA. I wasnt hitting the spray till the 60 foot. I ran 11.01 @127.08 with 1.82 60'
what i noticed was that my shift's never fell below 6000rpms. I crossed the traps around 6600 rpms. I have a stock 10 bolt with 3.42's and 26" MT drag radials. I have a built A4 (SS4000 stall) and was commanding 6100 shift 1-2 and 6100 2-3, 6350 3-4.
does it look like I'm pushing through my converter? shift extension is pretty high. Would 28's benefit me? thanks for reading guys.

the mph is there (maybe a tad low, but you didnt' spray till the 60') so probably not blowing through the converter horribly. would it gain from a tighter verter? depends where your car makes power. you'd probably hate the car on motor with a tighter stall though...

i did have a 3800 before. i know it's not much different, but the shift extension vs this one was about 300 rpms lower. I know the nitrous would bump that higher anyway. ultimately i dont wanna change stalls. would 28's be worthwhile? as far as my 60's are and giving me more top end (crossing the traps a little lower)
yeah of course. the car won't leave as hard, but would probably put you right where you want to be at the traps (6300 or so if i had to guess).
my car= 28" tire and 3.73 gear = 6350 rpms across the traps @ 128/129mph 3800 stall. 26" tire with the same setup forget it i didn't even make it to the end of the track before i basically let off, don't want to rev the car that high.

It seems like you need to work on your suspension IMO. H/C 4000 stall car should be going 1.4-1.5 60' n/a if properly set up. I've gone a best of 1.600 on motor; same gears, same size stall, a lot less power. I've gone 1.49 60' on the 150 shot. (ET streets) I can't seem to hook up on the spray with the radials since I switched. However, hitting the nitrous about 40-50' in to the run netted me 1.56s
Why do you have 3.42 gears? Not too many auto guys switch from 3.23s or even 2.73s to 3.42s. Just curious.
