Default head stud Question????

Is getting head studs a must when spraying an LS1 or are you guys spraying on stock head bolts?

really just depends on what shot your running. I was told if i wanna run a 250+ shot it would be a smart investment if I didnt want my heads to lift and leak water. Im no pro, but heres my .02


So just figure this, 150 and down, probly not. 150 and up wouldn't hurt.

You should be fine. I know tons of people who spray a 150 shot on stock head bolts. I'll say on thing though, I was running ARP head bolts and was lifting the heads on a 150 shot, so I'm using head studs. Never have to clean the bolt holes again!!!!
