Default Races the 26th! Help me figure this out!

Alright guys i posted this over in the PCM dianostics and tuning section but didnt get too much respose so hopefully you guys can help out. I got my AEM UEGO wideband in the mail the other day and im really needing to get it installed so i can tune a bit before the races on the 26th. Originally i had planned on just welding in the supplied bung after the cat, and putting the new sensor there, but i have been told that you can take out the factory o2 before the cat and put the wideband o2 there, and somehow have the wideband o2 simulate a narrowband for the PCM. is that a possibility and if so is it difficult? i have no problem welding it in after the cat, which i know is a bit less accurate (will read leaner than it really is) which to me is fine...means ill be a little safe when i tune. also...the grommet i have behing the PCM is pretty much maxed out (nitrous lines and wiring) so i cant run the wires through there for my wideband.......is there anywhere else you can run the wires to get them to the pillar? transmission shift gate or something (a4). Thanks guys, i really want this process to be done with!

as for the widebanfd in the stock 02 bung is possible but i would disconect the o2 from the harness. you could damage it. u will get a code by doing it that way. i would just weld in the bung it came with, less hassle and no code. best thing for running the wire would be to drill a hole in the firewall. you could run it through the fenders and have it come in through the door but thats kind of ghetto. i have done that a few times but only for friends who need a kit installed quick for a race.

what type of kit do you have?
