Default Suggestions/Advice Needed--- Single 300 Plate + 100 second stage

Went to the track this past week.... ran 10 nitrous passes on a progressive controller. The car ran a 6.48, 6.53, some 6.6's etc... I needed a bottle warmer and pressure guage.... I also didnt want to go without a delay out of the hole. used a 1 second delay and 85% on my best pass.....with low bottle pressure.

I decided to ditch the controller and do the 300 out the hole. The car leaves straight and easy (weak nitrous converter).

I am going to put the TB WOT switch on the Gemini plate with a 300...... I also have a button on my shifter.... should I put the 100 on the button? How safe is this? What spark plugs are needed for this setup?

I hotlapped my car on the 200shot plus... it never got hot (gotta love Iron Blocks!)

details on setup: 3850#, 408, Diamond Pistons, TH400, GMPP Carb Style with Elbow, TR6 plugs.

Right now I only have 2 selenoids and a purge.... the biggest honkers you can get, good for 600 worth of spray.

You should be fine doing that. I would just make sure bothe stages are on a window switch for safety. I would also run the 100 shot stage on a wot switch in conjuction with the button. This way even if you push the button it will make sure you are at wot.

Good advice.... I have a WS on the car, but it wont work with my setup so I hear.

will these plugs work fine vs my TR6's?: NGK R5671A-8

can you identify which one it is? I dont remember... it is on the glove box:

I'd run TR8's myself....also, have you considered putting the 2nd stage on a delay?

IMO the button will act as the delay... I will hit it just a bit before the 2nd gear shift.... or after....

with the converter and gears it will be very safe to spray after the shift.. and if it is only 75/100 it wont do anything to make the car react funny down the track.

I also can use the smaller shot on the button on the street for fun..... spraying the 300 all the time will cost alot of money... only 3 passes a bottle!
