So I raced a new zo6 with spray tonight and we were pretty much neck and neck until third gear. Then I flipped the switched to spray him and next thing I know my car pops, I see sparks, and lose all my power. After I inspect the car, it turns out the TNT ring came off my throttle body, the maf came off the lid, my lid is warped, the two latches break off, my filter is blown, and the thing that the lid sits on is cracked.
$100 down the drain since I lost the race, but I was thinking of maybe getting one of those other things that do away with the lid. I think it's called a volant or that one by K&N. I'm just wondering which one seems to be more succesful?

Both are really about the same i just think the K&N is a cleaner set up and not as cluttered. Ur also more than likely going to be replacing a MAF and possible a IAT sensor but more than likely u just clean that with some electronics cleaner.

I sprayed it right after I put it in third and it popped about 5000rpms or so.
I spun out of the hole just on motor, so there's no way I could have sprayed it. I had to wait until I had full traction

Well I pulled one and it looked kinda greenish so I'm guessing I went lean. I know one of my O2 sensors is out, but I need to run a scan in a little bit to see how everything else looks.
