The gauge will auto shut it off after 15 minutes (with the bottle closed) because it will not see a change in pressure; if the bottle gets to pressure before the 15 minutes the bottle heater switch will shut it off. I can live with that and just be aware of it.

Beer that wire from the guage is a ground wire NOT hot. Recheck your layout.
Besides your not suppose to heat a bottle closed.

Good catch! I am on it! Nuthin been powered up yet (battery is out of car).

Called Vinny and he set me straight...once I got the heater set up I will power it up. The * connection is 12 V Switched and the heater is controlled by the gauge through the ground (git it now!).

LC-1 stuff I will do tommorrow.

Went with the V, its the one that is not a progressive controller.

I am close to powering it up, LOL I have been busy cleaning up the old wiring...what a mess it was. Much Cleaner now. Figuring out my power source then will connect and hopefully it will work!

Beer if you see the hour glass do not shut the gauge off, its saving data to memory. Looks good.

I will have more pics later, todays agenda is to program the LC-1 Analog1 volts to 10 and 20 AFR, finalize the power and grounds to my panel and the gauge, and tap into the Pressure sending unit wire to log bottle pressure.

May even do a lil video of the gauge booting up, I am told it can be programed to boot up with with custom pics or logo's (have to send it to Trick Performance for that).

A custom logo would be pretty trick.

So are you using the entire lc1 or just the wideband itself? I would assume you are using the entire unit, and running a wire from the lc1 unit to the guage.

I am using the entire LC-1, both analog outputs. Analog 2 goes to the EFI Live Scan Tool, Analog 1 will fed the guage. The Dynotune gauge (removed and will probably put in my Avalanche) has different parameters than the Black gauge, so its a matter of changing the analog 1 outputs to match the black gauge... I also moved the LC-1 Cal button I had rigged in the battery tray into the cab and to my panel. Just finished that. Early afternoon I hopefully will be done and snap pics of the various menu's and correct function of the heater pressure/AFR readings.

after doing all of the work would you reccomend getting a lc-1- as it is the best wideband out right now, or somehting else.

I am going to be buying everything by the end of next week, and just want to make sure I am getting what I need and not wasting money.

Up and running
Now to get pics

Above Heater on

Above heater off

Pretty neat ****!
Have a video selecting screens and turning on the heater. Its 19 megs though...maybe reshoot it in daylight and edit for web use.

Very cool combination! Everything works Bottle Pressure, heater, LC-1 WB
The color of the text for each sensor is selectable, I used green for 950 PSI and up, as you can see the bottle text is red because its not in my selected window.

For nite time use, you can dim the gauge one step darker than the bright setup.

Going to get with Vinny in Dec for setting up the safety's and bottle Full/Empty settings.

I have the P gauge, but will be taking it to a shop to have it installed. I set aside time last weekend, but pinched a nerve in my neck and was stuck on the couch all weekend...SOOOO yeah...have to have a shop do it now since I'm crunched for time.

Does ANYONE have a DIY guide for the install?!??
