need help..Just got off the dyno... Not good. First we re-tuned the car NA.
Pulled 3 degrees of timing and went
410 & 390....
On the 100nx wet shot, using 52/31 jets...
It stumbled and bogged after 4200.
It looked ok from 2800 - 4000
Torque went to 525 almost right away, but HP NEVER went above 420... Then it dropped off above 4200..
Torque fell off after 4200-- big time as well...
It was serging like crazy.
I don't have a fuel pressure gauge yet. I also DO NOT have an external pump, but the Injector pulse rates looks great.
ANY idea on what the *(!#@ is going on??

Did you run an A-tap at the time of Dyno?
It never went lean at 4200?
It really sounds like you ran out of "gas". I assume you have not up graded your fuel pump in any way. I'd upgrade the fuel system, and/or run an Atap at the time of the dyno run.

Re: need help..Just got off the dyno... Not good. I am tuning the car via LS1 edit. I also autotapped it as it was on the dyno.
It was at 12.0 from 2.5 to 4.2 rpm. Then it jumped to 13+ when it surged and sputtered and fell off badly.
Didn't see any knock retard though.
I'm running tr6's at .038.
Sounds like I might need an inline pump. T-rex maybe...

Re: need help..Just got off the dyno... Not good. I would reconsider the inline pump, and put in an intank pump. A Walbro 255/340 should help. I am far from a dyno or tuning expert. But for what your mods list, an intank is mandatory for safe operation.
Re: need help..Just got off the dyno... Not good. I have a T-rex in-line fuel pump and 30lb inject. Jayson and crew at MTI feel like 450rwhp is as much as you want to go on stock fuel system. MTI put my whole set-up together and it runs really we`ll. I know the lower you spray( don`t go below 3000 rpms) the higher your trq numbers, and your rwhp will climb pretty good. I have fuel psi gauge and don`t have any fuel problems. Check my Sig. Now we pulled timing and I run alittle rich for safety. I got my numbers with 900psi on the bottle. I think with 1050 psi I would be around 575rwhp and 600rwtq .We sprayed at 3900rpms so I lost alittle rwtq. Not bad for A4
