Default whats so great about NXL?

i hear soooo much hype about this system but what are the advantages of it? i know its direct port and something about the injectors delivering fuel and n20 at the same time but what makes it better than any other direct port setup? would it be worth it for just 150 shot? also can anyone point me to links for info on this system?

With the DP setup (regardless of maker), you get an even distrobution of spray-NO WAY you can get that in wet or DRY. Making it more efficient. You can spray at lower RPMs than 3000 if you choose. Wet kits way bad to do that due to lower velocity in the Dry Intake leading to pooling on the intake floor. With Dry kits I dont think you wanna go that big on the shots, but I am not sure. It is a clean looking system also. My vote is for NXL and will be backed up once they ship that puppy out. I will most likely stick to a 15shot, but it is way more efficient so I believe it is worth it.

Good-Luck, Charlie.

would a stock motor even stand a chance with this on the 150 shot? i know folks are running the wet kits to 150 or so on stock motors but i would think a DP setup would actually give more hp gains.

I am going to be using a progressive controller. My friend has the NOS version, w/ 65jets she went the same Trap/ET as a 100 Wet Kit. More efficient, hell ya. Limits, I dont know, yet. But, I do plan on testing some shot sizes here and there.

how would a 150 shot wet be less stressful than 150 direct shot? if its more efficient wouldnt you just use less nitrous to achieve 150 shot?
also, why would it be safer to spray at lower rpm with a dp as opposed to any other type?

Safer as described above in a dry intake (like we have) you spray at @3000rpms because the velocity in the intake system is great enough to keep the fuel from pooling on the bottom of the intake. If you spray at 1000rpm on a wet kit, assuming WOT switch is working, the load you place on the engine will take enough time that the N2O and fuel will move slowly thru the intake, pool and create a potential disaster.

More efficient because each cylinder gets the same amount, unlike wet or dry where the front cylinders get the most feed. This causes stress greater on the front four cylinders than the back four.

Yes, a more efficient 150Dp will stress the engine more than 150 wet kit, but it does it evenly and that can be the difference in disaster, at least from my research this is what I have learned. And I hope it is true to the word.

Do a search here, key words NXL, or Direct Port. There was a thread that had a link to oics, or maybe even pics in the thread.

Basics is, replacement billet fuel rails w/ integrated solenoids on the ends, injector bungs, with lines to connect to rails, relays, all other necessary items.
