Default dry to wet

i have the 5177 dry kit and it works pretty good but have been thinking about going from that to the 13434 wet plate kit upgrade has anyone done this and is it worth it?

100rwhp is 100rwhp, so changing over for a performance gain will not happen; however, if your looking for the trick look the plates offer, then yes the conversion will work. Harris and NO carry plate kits for add on also.

from the dyno test my kit only adds 69 hp with the 100shot installed and it's also rated 100 at the flywheel

You should read the wet vs dry thread we go into this. The 5177 is where we get the, wet hits harder, but really it's BS. If ya want 100rwhp then jet it for rwhp. They rate at the flywheel, yes, so most think god this hits like **** and that's where the BS started cause the dry from NOS was first. Check out at the end of the Jetting thread, I have added the conversion jetting for rwhp.

I would agree with Robert. I hit dry, and there is not a reason I would go wet, unless I am direct porting.. That would be the only reason I could think of to go wet.
IMO..

But I had same problem, hitting the jet that is suppose to be 100 RWHP, they actually should be saying 100 HP on the engine.
Just keep moving up the jet sizes until you are happy..
But remember there will be some tuning needed when you get over the 150 HP jet...
To be on the safe side that is...

Like Robert suggested if you want more power you can simply just go up on the jets. Make sure you have enough fuel injectors.

If you decide to change over to a wet plate we carry the NOS plate as well as our plate and all the parts needed to upgade instock.

Let me know if you need any tech help.
