Default For the love of wiring

Well since this is my first post to the website, would like to say I am in AWE at the power of the LS1 I am helping a friend install a NX kit in his 2K SS and I am wondering about the wiring for the setup. I am only familiar with mustang wiring so I would like a little help please. My friend has the MAF kit from NX with:

1) Electronic bottle opener
2) WOT switch
3) Fuel pressure cutoff switch
4) RPM window switch
5) Bottle warmer

The instructions are very complete as too the actual wiring of each component but they do not give good locations to splice into for power and what not. Also integration of components to the system is very vague.

If anyone could help out with information on where to splice into for power in the front of engine and also in the back thet would be appreciated. Thanks for the time.

Are you going to run a relay? If so get power from the batt for it (red aux post on rt side next to fuse boxes) And the wireing for the components other than soloniods i ran of my armed switch wire. Good place to get through the firewall is under the computer. Remove it and you will see a grommet, kind of underneith the computer.

Bottle warmer i ran all the way to Batt. No since in skimping on this stuff. Always use relays. Power them from direct batt source. The switches just tap into an aux wire. They wont take much juce to turn the relay on.

The relay is pretty straight forward. Hooking it up to a window switch and a FPSS is done through the white wire. If not, just ground it. The red wire goes to a 12+ switched source through your WOT switch. I did away with the WOT switch and just use 1 master power switch and have it wired through just the window switch. It's not like I'm going to turn on the system about 5 seconds before I go to WOT anyways... Black wire to the 12V battery (I'm surprised they didn't include a fuse with the kit), and the green goes to the solenoids.

I will warn you not to try and use the bolts holding your coil brackets to the valve covers...

Make sure you use plenty of fuses, or risk meltdown...

Thanks for all the replies guys Does someone possibly have a intigrated basic drawing showing all the normal components, maybe including the fuses and relays that have been discussed? I found one for a NOS system but not for NX. We will be wiring tomorrow.
