Default Spray with smoking motor ?

I dont know anything about nitrous, I have never used in my cars.

But ppl here in Mexico are going faster every day, there are some SC and Turbo mustags around here and I think is time to explore this options.

My car runs mid 11s, and wont run 10s spending 1000usd on a FAST 90/90, but I think it would hit 10s with some 1000 usd in Nitrous.

But my issue is that my motor is an 2001 LS6, and as I'd been reading, those motors has some ring problems. The motor burns oil and smoke betwen every shift on drag racing.

So I am worry about broke my motor, it is not forged and has that issue burning oil. Also my car is a M6 and sometimes I miss shifting third.

I like the TNT F2 system with window switch and purge, may be just 100hp. But any advice will be apreciate.

most lsx motors burn oil i believe. the motor doesnt have to be forged to run nitrous. guys run 150 shots all day. just has to be tuned right with the safety stuff on it. also make sure the fuel system is good also.

oh btw never admit you miss gears alot

It burns more oli than normal, and the smoke is very obvious.

Thanks foru the response.

The 2001 LS6 did have ring issues. As for spraying a smoking motor.. well, if you don't care about it, why not? You'll be blowing n2o into the oil though. Then, you'll blow lots of metal pieces (rings, then pistons etc) into the motor... probably followed by a crowd pleasing BOOOM. The racers and track people will not be your friends.

oh damn

why not start with a compression test and a leakdown test, see how the inside of that motor really is. smoke is smoke, could be from a lot of things. could be as simple as valve guide seals. if the thing runs strong on motor and the compression/leakdown tests are allright, spray away. if it fails either test spray it anyway and start looking for another bottum end.
