Default Using Nitrous with Boosted Applications..

I have several questions about using nitrous on boosted applications. If you were running say 20lbs plus of boost and you run a direct port standalone fuel system how would you set up the fuel pressure? I mean wouldn't the velocity of the air going into the motor overwelm the amount of fuel going in? If my question is stupid please explain.

If the car's feul pressure is 55PSI then I would set the dedicated up for 55PSI and put a Boost referenceing regulator on the car aswell so it adds fuel as your boost goes up IMO.

i would start out at your boost pressure + 7 for your direct port kit fuel pressure... and yes a boost reference FPR would be necessary....

i would start out with very small jets and pretty rich....

if you start running ALOT of nitrous youll have to treat it as a second nitrous kit when running it at the track.... meaning- on boost youll need it to be pretty rich and then let the nitrous kit be lean.... that way they will even each other out when they both hit....

if you run your boost at around 11.5ish AFR and then throw a huge nitrous kit( 300 or bigger) on it and try to keep it around the same afr you'll end up with a mess... unless you bring the boost AFR to like 10.5 and then let the nitrous kit bring the AFR to 11.5-12.0

Another thing to consider, especialy if you're spraying a smaller shot (200 or less) you may want to consider a nozzle style, simply for the cooling effect it provides in the intake tract
