My car is depressing me. I swear it is! I took her out to a local track about a month ago and she was running good! It was running 12.50's on motor and 11.50's on the 100 shot, and thats not spraying it out the gate. I was happy then! But I went to the track last week and I couldn't even get out of the 13's on motor! and I couldn't even get an 11 second pass on nitrous!!!!! I thaught it was all traction issues one at first but at the end of the night I managed a 1.69 on nitrous and getting the front left off the ground a little(how I have no idea..... the 60's should be in the 1.5 or 1.4 range on nitrous... or I would think so). But I think I have ended up killing my rear end that night b/c I now have a popping noise when I turn.

Re: My car is depressing me. Josh, sounds like the clutches in the psoi are gone. My friend has the same problem, the clutches lockling and unlocking erratically.

Re: My car is depressing me. Well the air on the 12.5 was a little better.... it was still hot but not NEAR as hot as it was my last trip to the track. I hope it might have been the race track I was at b/c several people have had better results at the track I was at on the 12.5 runs. As far as the rear end goes....... I was gunna go ahead and put some Moser axles and a locker in it but for now I think I'm just gunna get one of those SLP replacement differentials(sp?). And then I'll probably save up for the axles and locker and stuff later.... I thaught about a 12 bolt but for now I don't need one and I really don't want to spend that much money on a rear end till I NEED it(being this is an automatic car with bolts only... and a little nitrous too.)

I went from 107-8 on nittos without the converter(it was really cold back then)and 107 with the convert on nittos(spinning pretty bad and pretty warm weather) and now I went from 107 to 105 in hot weather with the et streets(good traction) and the car drops a second on nitrous(100 shot) and it only picks up 9 mph--- most cars I have seen pick up over 10 mph they usually trap 116 or 117 on a 100 shot and like 105-106 on motor.
