Default 42lb + racetronix good enough for h/c + 150 shot.??

as the title says would that be enough for heads/cam + and a 150 shot at max?

reason I ask is I can injectors from a buddy who is upping the boost and hes selling them pretty cheap.

so should I just go w/ the 42's or something else?

injectors are bosch 42'lbers.

I have SVO 42's and they work great. Are you getting the hotwire kit, or the whole pump etc.? What kind of shot?

Either way, your setup should be good for the 150 shot. You might want to look at the Harris dry plate with the interface controller.

If you are doing a dry shot svo 30 injectors are enough to handle the h/c with 150 shot. if you can get the 42 lbs cheap then go for it. That way u have room to upgrade later.

good deal. I'll grab the 42's today if it works out.

most likely going to go w/ the NX dry maf kit for the ease of tuning w/ a wide band. and the ease and range of a/f adjustments....

although the HSW kit w/ the interface is a trick piece as well.

The interface allows you to adjust A/F with a flip of a switch, what could be easier then that??

The only problem I see with the NX piece(for me it's a slight problem) is that is seems to take alot of dialing in without a real defined starting point, and does not pull timing. The interface gives you a good starting point to make minor adjustments, and has the bonus of pulling timing.

The other great thing is that the interface is actually on the market being sold. Who knows when the NX kit will be out

this is true...

my real dilemma is I can't decide if I want to go wet, or dry...

looking at the HSW dry kit, as well as their plate piece, and nitro daves plate, and NX dry maf kit....sigh*

I may just go w/ the plate as its proven winner.

I beg to differ. You should pay very close attention to your IDC if you decide to go with a dry kit. A camaro my shop installed and tuned a dry kit on had 42lb. inj. and was jetted for a 100 shot and the duty cycle was in the low 60% range. This was also just a bolt-on car, LS1 intake, and stock camshaft. The car was tuned with hp tuners. Since the thread starters motor will be moving much more air I would recommend a wet kit.

The Racetronix kit is the ****....

42's should be good. Thats the setup I am running right now.. Heads/cam/150 dry/Racetronix pump/42lb injectors..

I had SVO 30's on there before and could only get a 50 shot before running out of injector..

Right now with my 42's and a 150 my IDC is 74%...

Remember, the NX kit is only for the small throttle bodies. the HSW plate kit and Interface is the trick pony these days for going dry and kits for big and small TBs. Good luck and let us know your results.

Oh yea, I run the SVO 42s currently, and have been over 600rwhp. In my personal web site is the math for sizing injectors and also the how to for rescaling injectors.

the HSW dry kit w/ interface looks amazing and most likely the setup im going for, robert you being a martyr for dry has definitely made me lean in that direction.
