how is your suspension setup? are you running drag radials? Have you thought about progressing that 200 shot? i have a feeling youre going to run into big traction issues. As long as you can get it to hook and stay hooked, i see low 11's potentially high 10s on the 200 shot.

rear suspension will be 2" drop hangars and 2" drop shackles with calvert racing caltrack traction bars with a -2* pinion angle on stock shocks. 28X10X16" hoosier slicks on a 10" wide wheel. 4.10 gears with a detroit tru-trac carrier.

everything is already there except for the traction bars.

if i get too close to 10's ill have to upgrade from the truck intake to a fast and upgrade the single 3" exhaust to dual 3"...its only $$$ right hahaha. i plan on upgrading my rod bolts from stock to kaetech, but does anyone think the stock motor will hold together? its way past the 100,000 mark. only motor mods are a cam and patriot heads.

first off, freakin kudos for getting that truck to an all motor 12.2 pass.

Its a lot of work but if you want to upgrade the rod bolts that would certianly help your chances of keeping it together. ide also look into upgrading your oil pump and timing chain. I would still go with a progressed 200 shot as well

thanks. my best time as of now is 12.19 on motor. rod bolts wont be too bad on a lift....it will definately be easier than working on a f-body haha. that is the 1 advantage of wrenching on a truck plug change is 10 minutes to me haha. maybe ill duel stage it and push as much as i can out of the hole, then put the rest as soon as i can hook it. ill probably relocate the battery to the back for some extra weight on top of the tires and to get some off of the front of the truck. every little bit counts this far huh? still daily driven

I would go dual stage like you mentioned. As much as you can outta the hole while mataining traction then hitting the rest asap. Have you upgraded your fuel pump yet?

On my old set up ws.6 m6 n/a I was running 11.75. on a 100shot I got 10.95. Then after more mods I got 11.15 n/a. On a 150 shot I got 10.27. This year I'm looking at a duel stage 150 shot for 300hp total My goal is 9.5's in the 1/4mi or better.

its scheduled to go to ARD next thursday morning and they will have it ready friday evening. since i made this post ive added the traction bars, and changed cams. i also switched from the truck intake manifold to the LS6. it dynod 429hp and 390tq. my truck should be good for an 11.9x on motor now.
